UMPC is a new class of ultra portable small laptops, almost the size of a PDA, but with full Windows functionality. If you desperately want to write your ASP.NET Application in the Subway, this is the way to go.
Unfortunately, I have not found a good website where all these UMPC’s are shown side-by-side. But I’m about to change that:

After the OQO the second smallest UMPC, but with 1024×600 with a better resolution. Don’t really wanna run Vista on 600×480. And this one is CHEAP.
For comparison, the Apple iPhone is 11.5×6.1×1.15 in size, still a lot smaller than the OQO.
So, the decision is yours, but the alternatives are here. The iPhone is not gonna be cheap either, on the other hand, who wants to walk around with a 2cm thick brick in his pants?
